Art Experience Gallery will present to you Urban Anecdotes-Group Exhibition by Li Changlong, Liu Xintao and Wu Yiqiang from 7 September to 19 October 2013.

The three artists are from Chengdu, Sichuan and Yunnan. As they shuttle between various cities, they observe carefully the rapid development of China. The ever-changing social landscape and urban environment, along with people’s scattered state of mind seems to constitute a cacophonous scene. Among them many city anecdotes are lost outside the mainstream discourse. Though these anecdotes are not officially recorded, they still possess certain significance that is worth to discover and recognize. Through the three artists’ works which aim to rediscover the often overlooked details, people and events from different angles, we are able to seek and respond to the true essence of our society.
